Expertise: Content and Design, Event Management, PR and Media

The Brief

HKPC/HKCERT planned a press conference to release “Hong Kong Cybersecurity Outlook 2026,” highlighting a 27% year-on-year rise in local cyber incidents and five key risks for 2026. CCG was tasked with end‑to‑end PR support: media strategy, invite and attendance management, spokesperson prep, on‑site handling, and post‑event monitoring and reporting.

The CCG Way

CCG built a multi-wave communications plan targeting electronic, print, online, and social channels in both Chinese and English. We crafted the core narrative and messaging house around record-high incidents, AI weaponisation, phishing prevalence, SME readiness, and supply-chain risk; prepared spokesperson briefs and Q&A; and optimized the press-conference flow, small- group interview rotations, and B‑roll/photo opportunities. We issued tailored pitches to tech, business, finance, and mass-media desks, coordinated on‑site logistics and VIP/media handling, and executed same‑day distribution of bilingual releases and visual assets, followed by comprehensive monitoring.

Results

The event drew 16 media on site and generated 109 pieces of coverage by 23 February 2026: Electronic 4, Print 14, Online 87, Social 4. Tier‑1 pickups included TVB, RTHK, HOY, HKEJ, SCMP, HKET, Oriental Daily, Sing Tao, Bloomberg Businessweek (Chinese), Yahoo, ET Net, am730, Line Today, and syndicated wires via Media OutReach, among others— successfully landing key messages on the 27% YoY surge to 15,877 incidents, phishing dominance, and AI/supply‑chain risks.
