The Brief

Nokia engaged Creative Consulting Group (CCG) to build awareness and leadership in the 5G space across Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), positioning the company as a leading B2B technology innovator enabling Industry 4.0 and digital transformation initiatives. The objective was also to increase Nokia’s share of voice against key competitors while elevating regional leadership team members as trusted thought leaders.

In 2023, Nokia unveiled its first brand refresh in more than 60 years. While the transformation marked a significant strategic shift towards enterprise technology and innovation, there was a substantial risk that media coverage would focus solely on the logo redesign rather than the business strategy behind it. CCG needed to ensure the story centred on Nokia’s evolution as a technology leader, not simply a visual rebrand.

The CCG Way

CCG established a Singapore-based communications hub to coordinate messaging and media engagement across APAC markets.

Working closely with Nokia, we developed a strategic communications framework that positioned the brand refresh as a reflection of Nokia’s future-focused vision, highlighting:
