Overview
CCG adopts a repackaging & rebranding approach to multiply the events’ appeal and strengthen the core values, while navigating their positions to a mainstream lane to attract a more diversified audience. We received record high media attendance with 55% increase comparing with the previous year and double quality media coverage.

Our Task and Strategy

• Three major Cyberport events in 2019 risked being seen as “routine”, “monotonous” and “repetitive” with low media interests
• The fully stretched Cyberport marketing & communications team was overwhelmed with many other projects and would require additional expert support to maximise exposure for the three campaigns

Overview
The Quality Building Award (QBA) is a biennial industry programme that celebrates and offers public recognition to buildings that embody excellence.

Co-founded in 2002 by nine of Hong Kong’s leading professional institutions, the project was an “off-brand” and on a much smaller scale. QBA wanted to raise its brand awareness and gain the recognition as one of the most important industry awards.

Strategy
CCG worked with the QBA leadership team to completely revamp their communications strategy, building a new and integrated approach targeting both offline and online platforms. In the midst of significant communications overhauls, the launch of an annual theme and design visuals, and aggressive media outreach, the team worked strategically to capitalise on QBA’s unique insider view of the building profession and targeted tier-one journalists and influencers who would be covering the stories. CCG has also since created a series of buzz-worthy award events that deliver the desired brand messages.

Achievements and Results

• QBA has since been quickly established as one of the property sector’s most coveted honours and will be celebrating its landmark tenth edition in 2020
• The Award has now achieved greater heights with expanded categories including overseas entries
• The scale of QBA has grown dramatically since its inception with a record-breaking number of submission, almost doubling the previous years’ submissions

Overview
MIPIM ASIA is an annual real estate investment summit, each year bringing together close to 800 business leaders and industry executives from across the world. With over 90 key speakers, the two-day summit is widely regarded as a must-attend event in the Asia-Pacific region.

Our Task and Strategy
CCG has served as the official press office for MIPIM Asia for over a decade, where we have engaged with various media with powerful key points to further amplify MIPIM ASIA’s presence. We have been the digital office for MIPIM Asia in recent years to engage industry leaders via social platforms, including Twitter and Facebook.

Overview
Backed by Alibaba.com’s global B2B e-commerce platform, Qupital (Hong Kong’s first online invoice financing service provider) successfully launched its innovative services to help facilitate trade for SMEs. This collaboration came within a year after Qupital secured a seed investment round of USD 2 million from shareholders including Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and MindWorks Ventures.

• Our team successfully organized a launch event, secured the attendance of 20 journalists and 25 on-site interviews

Overview
Cyberport Venture Capital Forum (CVCF) is an annual signature event to discuss global successes of tech investments and hot trends of venture capital markets in the digital technology space. CVCF 2019 attracted over 900 participants and featured industry leaders, investors, venture capitalists and start-ups from the Cyberport community to explore the latest trends in the venture capital ecosystem.

Our Task and Strategy

• Content creation, PR, regional & local media relations and on-site support of the event.
• Develop bi-lingual PR materials including media invitations, press releases, key messages and media pitching documents.
• Our team successfully organized a pre-event media luncheon and secured the attendance of 9 journalists from 9 organizations for the pre-event media luncheon. The team also secured 30 on-site interviews with the attendance of 52 journalists from 25 media outlets throughout the CVCF event.
• With the outstanding media relations, CCG successfully engaged with key media, and repackaged CVCF as the unique platform for investors, start-ups, and enterprises, fostering investment matching and collaboration.

World-renowned Danish luxury audio lifestyle brand Bang & Olufsen (B&O) is known for design excellence, craftsmanship and product innovation. Bang & Olufsen HK has retained CCG as their PR agency since 2016.

• As the brand’s PR agency, we provide public relations strategy and advice to help increasing brand awareness and enhance brand recognition of B&O
• Convert brand and product stories into newsworthy pitches

Overview
The Karen Leung Foundation (KLF) www.karenleungfoundation.org is a local organization working to save lives in Hong Kong by raising awareness of gynecological cancer, educating women to increase rates of early detection and ensuring that women in treatment have access to optimal medical care. KLF engaged CCG’s help in 2020 to expand the reach to a wider audience by primarily focusing on branding through Chinese top-tier media.

Our Task and Strategy
CCG effectively promoted KLF and its key campaign in 2020, the Extraordinary Exhibition, featuring the work of outstanding female artists, to main Chinese media. With an aim to promote the key concept of “Self-Love” among women at large, the campaign and mission of KLF was well-received.

Achievements and Results
After achieving the first badge of overwhelming media coverage on artists’ perspectives on Self-Love and also KLF’s key missions, CCG also works for the continuation of the “Self-Love” series in 2021.
